MVTec Software GmbH from Munich will be celebrating its 25th company anniversary throughout the year 2022. Having been founded in 1996 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich and the Bavarian Research Center for Knowledge-Based Systems (FORWISS), the company is now one of the world's leading international software providers for industrial image processing (machine vision).
CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS AS THE BASIS FOR THE COMPANY'S SUCCESS
For its anniversary year, MVTec has resolved to further intensify its cooperation with customers and partners. After all, being close to its customers has always been a key element of success, and MVTec will continue to invest in it in the future. Therefore, the company plans to push ahead with its internationalization in 2022. In addition to the existing subsidiaries in the USA and China, MVTec plans to further expand its involvement in key markets such as France and Taiwan.
NUMEROUS NEW SOFTWARE RELEASES IN THE PIPELINE
MVTec will also have a lot to offer its customers at the product level: For example, two software releases with improved usability and new features are planned for the comprehensive machine vision standard software HALCON in May and November. The easy-to-use MERLIC software for creating complete machine vision applications quickly and intuitively will also see some improvements in 2022. After last year’s fundamental further development with MERLIC 5, further updates in April and autumn of this year will keep up the pace of improvements and further development of the software. New versions of the Deep Learning Tool will also be launched with sophisticated functionalities for easy labeling of image data.
